The following planning application has been received which is for Listed Building Consent

1. Variation of condition 2 (plans and specifications) on previous permission 2025/91217 for Listed Building Consent for installation of five overhead electric line equipment portals on piers 1, 4, 6, 7 & 9 with supporting wall brackets at Railway Viaduct MDL1/19, Halifax Road/Bradford Road, Dewsbury.  Application No. 2025/92849.

The following planning applications have been received which affect the setting of a Listed Building

2. Change of use from fabric manufacturer and alterations to roof to form 2 no ground floor retail units and first floor children’s day nursery with associated works at Park House, Brooke Street, Cleckheaton.  Application No. 2025/92708.

3. Erection of one dwelling at Land adjacent, 38, Upper Road, Batley Carr, Dewsbury.  Application No. 2025/92758.

The following planning applications have been received which affect the setting of a Listed Building and are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting

4. Erection of security mesh fencing atop existing sandstone wall, installation of 1 automated vehicular sliding gate to staff car park, formation of opening within existing masonry wall structure and installation of 1 pedestrian access gate at Birstall Primary Academy, Chapel Lane, Birstall, Batley.  Application No. 2025/92748.

5. Alterations and refurbishment of ground floor restaurant/bar, alterations to first and second floors to form 5 apartments, erection of second floor extension and construction of new roof at The Time Piece, 11, Northgate, Dewsbury.  Application No. 2025/92714.

6. Reserved matters application pursuant to outline permission 2023/92079 for erection of residential development of 10 dwellings, demolition of existing extension at 27 Moor Lane, widening of existing access and realignment of boundary walls and discharge of details reserved by conditions 4 (noise), 5 (BEMP), 6 (Arboricultural Impact Assessment), 7 (safety and security), 8 (landscape), 9 (LEDS) at Rear of, 23 to 43, Moor Lane, Gomersal, Cleckheaton.  Application No. 2025/92713.

The following planning application has been received which is either within a Conservation Area or affects its setting

7. Installation of automated teller machine and associated signage at Callaghan News, 59-61, Cross Bank Road, Carlinghow, Batley.  Application No. 2025/92749.

8. A Reserved matters application has been received following the grant of outline permission 2023/92079. Reserved matters application for erection of residential development of 10 dwellings, demolition of existing extension at 27 Moor Lane, widening of existing access and realignment of boundary walls and discharge of details reserved by conditions 4 (noise), 5 (BEMP), 6 (Arboricultural Impact Assessment), 7 (safety and security), 8 (landscape), 9 (LEDS) at Rear of, 23 to 43, Moor Lane, Gomersal, Cleckheaton.  Application No. 2025/92713.
