What is planned?
The following applications have been received:-
AFFECTING THE SETTING OF A LISTED BUILDING - P1265/25/LD1 - Application under Section 191 to establish whether the existing use of the stables and riding arena for the commercial boarding of horses is lawful - Great Hoggins Farm, Bream Road, St Briavels, Lydney.
WORKS TO A LISTED BUILDING - P1239/25/LBC - Listed building consent for the Installation of a suspended ceiling below the original lath and plaster ceiling in the commercial kitchen area - Dean Valley Manor, The Fence, St Briavels, Lydney.
WORKS WITHIN A CONSERVATION AREA/WORKS TO A LISTED BUILDING/AFFECTING THE SETTING OF LISTED BUILDING - P1117/25/FUL - Erection of first floor extension to rear with Internal and external alterations. Demolition of existing non-original porch. - The Armoury Hall, Dean Road, Newnham.
WORKS WITHIN A CONSERVATION AREA - P1278/25/FUL - Change of use of two rear outbuildings from ancillary residential to commercial (artist's studio and small retail area) - 17 High Street, Mitcheldean. P1240/25/FUL - Erection of first-floor extension to bungalow and detached therapy room outbuilding - 8 Robinson Close, Newent.
WORKS WITHIN A CONSERVATION AREA/AFFECTING THE SETTING OF LISTED BUILDING - P1236/25/FUL - Conversion and alteration of stone building to create x4, 2 bed dwellings and x4, 3 bed dwellings with associated works. Demolition of existing commercial buildings - Industrial Site Behind High Street, High Street, Lydney.
THE DEVELOPMENT DOES NOT APPEAR TO ACCORD WITH THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN IN PLACE FOR THE AREA - P1176/25/OUT - Outline application for the erection of No. 4 dwellings and associated landscaping, parking and works. Demolition of existing buildings.(some matters reserved) - Burway Farm , Buttermilk Lane, Rudford.
Applications submitted can be inspected electronically at the Council Offices, High Street, Coleford, Glos, GL16 8HG, during office hours or through the Council’s website at www.fdean.gov.uk using the P reference number quoted above. Any representation about any applications should be made in writing to me at the above address no later than the 19th November 2025. Comments made will be available for public inspection on the website.
