PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received the following planning applications for development in the Borough, which are hereby advertised.

THE BELOW PROPOSALS ARE ADVERTISED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

(1) Adjacent to a Conservation Area

(2) Within a Conservation Area (3) Affects the setting of a Listed Building (4) Affects a Listed Building

(5) Departure from development plans

• 27 Marine Parade, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth; Installation of a vehicle access crossing (dropped kerb) and resurfacing of front driveway of property. Application No: 06/25/0805/HH(1)

• 53-54 York Road, Great Yarmouth; Proposed conversion of a 9-bedroom property to 3 no. flats. Application No: 06/25/0723/F (2,3)

• Riverside Road Retaining Wall, Gorleston; Construction of a 140m length of new sheet pile retaining wall, with a reinforced concrete capping beam and parapet fence, 1.0m in front of the existing wall; Infill behind to reinstate carriageway. Application No: 06/25/0678/F (2,3)

• 20 Broad Row, Great Yarmouth; Conversion works and alterations to create a ground floor 1-bedroom flat, and first and second floor level 2-bedroom flat. Application No: 06/25/0744/LB (2,4)

• 20 Broad Row, Great Yarmouth; Change of use from retail (Use Class E1) at ground floor into a 1-bedroom flat, and retail storage space at first and second floor levels into a 2-bedroom flat. Application No: 06/25/0747/F (2,4)

• Land at 41 Warren Road, Gorleston; Application seeking Permission in Principle for 1 no. self-build dwelling by way of subdivision of existing plot. Application No: 06/25/0763/PIP (5)

Written representations should be sent to plan@great-yarmouth.gov.uk by no later than 14th November 2025 quoting the application number. All representations will be recorded on a public file, be viewable on the Council’s website, and will be referred to the Secretary of State’s inspector in the event of an appeal.
