Town and Country Planning Act 1990 The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 Notice is hereby given that The Environment Agency has submitted to Rochdale Borough Council on 27th August 2025 for planning permission to carry out the following development:- 25/00890/VRCON Various Locations Within Littleborough Namely Riverstone Bridge, Charles Street, Peel Street, Railway Street, GNG Foam Converters, Town House Brook, Carriage Drive, Todmorden Road, Lightowlers Lane and Land at Gale. Retrospective application to vary condition 2 of planning permission 20/00082/FUL in relation to changes to the original scheme at the following locations: Riverstone Bridge, Charles Street Bridge, Todmorden Road The reason for giving notice is as follows: - Major Development; Affecting the Character of a Conservation Area/Setting of a Listed Building and a Public Right Of Way The application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement (Addendum) as required under the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations. Members of the public may inspect copies of the following on our Public Access System at www.rochdale.gov.uk/planning-and-building: - the application forms, - the plans, - the Environmental Statement, - and other documents submitted with the application Members of the public may obtain copies of the Environmental Statement (Addendum) from Rochdale Planning Department, Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU or by emailing the email address below.
