The Secretary of State gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up and diversion of a length of Temple Guiting Footpath 33 at Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.
If made, the Order would authorise the stopping up only to enable development as permitted by Cotswold District Council, under reference 23/02094/FUL.
Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan will be available for inspection during normal opening hours at Stow-on-the-Wold Library, St. Edwards Hall, The Square, Stow-on-the-Wold, GL54 1AF in the 28 days commencing on 23 October 2025, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the addresses stated below quoting NATTRAN/SW/ S247/6134.
Any person may object to the making of the proposed order by stating their reasons in writing to the Secretary of State at nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk or National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ, quoting the above reference. Objections should be received by midnight on 20 November 2025.
