NOTICE OF PUBLIC CONSULTATION

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (LOCAL PLANNING) (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2012

Maidstone Borough Council is inviting all residents and businesses in the borough to share their views on the draft Heathlands Garden Settlement Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) as part of a six-week consultation between Monday 3 November to 23:59 on Monday 15 December 2025.

How to view the documents: During the consultation period, the draft Heathlands Garden Settlement SPD, the Consultation Statement, and other supporting materials will be available on the Council’s webpage at: https://localplan.maidstone.gov.uk/home

The SPD and Consultation Statement will also be available for inspection at the following locations:

Period for responses: The period for submitting comments on the draft Heathlands Garden Settlement SPD will be from Monday 3 November to 23:59 on Monday 15 December. Responses must be received by Maidstone Borough Council within this period and may not be accepted outside of this period.

Submitting responses: People can share their views through the consultation platform at: https://maidstone.oc2.uk/

If you are unable to submit responses through the consultation platform, written responses may also be sent by email to ldf@maidstone.gov.uk or by post to:

Posted responses must also be received by Maidstone Borough Council within the stated consultation period set out above.
