SOUTH DERBYSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 PUBLIC INQUIRY At South Derbyshire District Council, Civic Way, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 0AHOn Tuesday 11 November 2025 at 10.00 am Relating to the following appeal: Application ref : DMPA/2025/0438 - APPEAL REF: APP/F1040/W/25/3368728 Appeal by: Richborough Estates Ltd and others Outline application (matters of access to be considered now with matters of layout, scale, appearance & landscaping reserved for later consideration) for the erection of up to 135 dwellings with associated infrastructure at Land South of Kings Newton Lane, Melbourne An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State under paragraph 1(1) of schedule 6 to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will attend at the place, date and time shown above to decide the appeal. The inquiry is scheduled to last 8 working days. Members of the public may attend the meeting and, at the Inspector's discretion, express their views.
