What is planned?

The above order was made on 10 October 2025. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath running from E460252120, N345777185 to E460468771, N345824619 and create an alternative footpath instead from E460252120, N345777185 and proceeding in a south-eastern direction to E460237933, N345770402 then proceeding in a north eastern direction up to E460283108, N345808056 then proceeding in a generally eastern direction to E460406425, N345773937 then proceeding in a general north-eastern direction following the route of Derbyshire Drive to E460427283, N345833954 then proceeding in an eastern direction to E460468771, N345824619 as shown on the order map.

A copy of the order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge until 15 November 2025 at the offices of Gedling Borough Council, Arnot Hill Park, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 6LU between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm on Mondays to Thursdays and between 9.00am and 4.30pm on Fridays (excluding bank holidays) by appointment only. Copies of the Order can also be obtained there free of charge. In addition copies of the Order and the Order Map are also available on Gedling Borough Council website at https://pawam.gedling.gov.uk/online-applications and using reference 2025/0147.

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Claire Turton, Principal Planning Officer, Gedling Borough Council, Arnot Hill Park, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 6LU or via email to Claire.turton@gedling.gov.uk and must be received no later than 15 November 2025. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Gedling Borough Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
