The following applications have been submitted for Planning Permission/Listed Building Consent or fall within a Conservation Area.

2025/0581/FUL

264 High Street: Change of use from restaurant (use class E) and a bar (use class Sui Generis) to hot-food takeaway (Sui Generis). Installation of mechanical ventilation / extraction to the rear elevation.

2025/0578/LBC

264 High Street: Repainting of shopfront; display of non illuminated hanging sign; display of 2 no. internally mounted, internally illuminated signs; installation of 1no. internally mounted display screen; application of window vinyls; removal of existing stud walls and installation of new stud walls; installation of new WCs and kitchen; and the installation of mechanical ventilation/extract to the rear. (Listed Building Consent)

2025/0524/FUL

Colbeck Chambers, 340 - 341 High Street: Replacement windows to front and rear elevation at first and second floors.

The Local Planning Authority will take into account any representations received within 21 days from the publication of this notice. In the case of householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about the application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
