NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257

FOOTPATH 10.136/2 ANVILLE SOUTH OTTERINGTON NORTHALLERTON.

The above order was made on the 23rd September 2025. The effect of the Order will be to divert the footpath commencing Grid Reference SE 3726 8765 and continuing in a north westerly direction for 28 metres to Grid Reference SE 3724 8767. Then to continue in a north easterly direction for 72 metres to Grid Reference SE 3730 8770. The proposed footpath will be enclosed (3 metre width) from Grid reference SE 3726 8765 changing to unenclosed (2 metre width) from 3729 8769. The surface will be natural.

A copy of the Order and the Order Plan may be seen free of charge at North Yorkshire Council County Hall Racecourse Lane Northallerton DL7 8AD between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm on Wednesday. Alternatively, a copy of the Order and the Order Plan may be viewed on the Council’s website at: https://planning.hambleton.gov.uk/online-applications/ (reference number ZB23/00914/FUL). Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be purchased at a reasonable cost.

Any representation about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Development Management Manager, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Racecourse Lane, Northallerton DL7 8AD not later than 8th November 2025. Alternatively, you may email your representation to planning.ham@northyorks.gov.uk. Please state the grounds on which it is made and reference ZB23/00914/FUL.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
