All comments must be received within 21 days of this Notice (excluding Bank Holidays) and can be sent to planning@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk  Comments made will be open to public inspection and available to view on the Council’s website. Notice under Regulation 30 of the above Regulations for the approval of a Full planning application of which the submission was accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

I give notice that on 22 September 2025 South Norfolk Council granted planning permission (2025/1649) to John Innes Centre for Demolition of existing buildings and full Planning Application for a Research and Development Facility which comprises of new Main Lab Building containing laboratories with ancillary offices, café, training library and outreach spaces, and new Support Building containing stores, ancillary offices and plant rooms, together with associated infrastructure comprising repositioning of approved generator from planning permission 2023/0786, landscape gardens, remodelling of existing service access to Colney Lane, to provide pedestrian and cycle access only, and creation of a new service access onto Colney Lane to the south of the existing site access at the John Innes Institute, Colney Lane, Colney, Norfolk, NR4 7UH.
