Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

KCC/SW/0144/2025 – Proposed development at Norwood Farm Quarry and Landfill Site, Lower Road, Minster on Sea, Sheerness, Kent ME12 3AJ.

Waste Recycling Group (Central) Ltd T/A FCC Environment is applying to Kent County Council Planning Applications Group for planning permission for a Section 73 application to vary condition 1 of planning permission SW/20/505208 to extend the life of the landfill and the restoration of the site by up to 16 years.

The application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement (ES) (Addendum).

Details of all applications and environmental statement can be viewed on Kent County Council’s website at www.kentplanningapplications.co.uk

Electronic copies of the ES Addendum are available via email free of charge (please make requests to enquiries@axis.co.uk).

We accept comments online via the direct link on the County Council’s website or by email to planning.applications@kent.gov.uk. You may also write to Planning Applications Group, Kent County Council, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XQ although we would strongly encourage you to submit comments online or by email at this time due to ongoing hybrid working arrangements.

Comments are accepted within 30 days from the date of this notice (14 November 2025). Please quote the application reference number (KCC/SW/0144/2025) and note that comments may be drawn to the attention of Council Members, the applicantand other interested persons and may include publishing on the Borough Council website.
