(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 586 (PART) LOWER BROADHEATH) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025
The above order was made on 10th September 2025. The effect of the order will be to divert that length and the whole width of public footpath no. 586, Lower Broadheath, running from point A, Ordnance Survey “OS” grid reference SO 82474 55436, a point at the junction of footpath 586, Lower Broadheath with footpath 577, Lower Broadheath, in a north-north-easterly direction for 60 metres to point B, OS grid reference SO 82496 55491 to a line running from point C, OS grid reference SO 82471 55439, a point on footpath 577, Lower Broadheath, in an east-north-easterly turning northerly direction for 34 metres to point D, grid reference SO 82500 55454, then continuing at a width of two metres in an easterly direction for 9 metres to point E, grid reference SO 82500 55464, then continuing at a width of two metres in a northerly direction for 30 metres to point B, grid reference SO 82496 55491., as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and order map may be seen free of charge at The Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern, WR14 3AF between 9.00am and 3.00pm Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the order and map may be obtained there. Copies are also available on the Council’s website at https://www.malvernhills.gov.uk/planning/other-planning-services/footpath-diversions
Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent in writing to: Meesha Patel, Director of Legal and Governance, Malvern Hills District Council, at the address below or by e mail to Meesha.Patel@malvernhills.gov.uk not later than 3rd November 2025. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Malvern Hills District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
