Notice of Pre-Application Consultation Public Event
East Dunbartonshire Council gives notice of its intention to submit a
planning application for the proposed development as follows:
Land at Whitegates Park, Lenzie, G66 3BS: Erection of a secondary
school (to replace the existing Lenzie Academy) including
landscaping, parking, recreational areas and associated development
and works
Further information on the proposed development will be available at the
following public exhibition to be held at Lenzie Academy, Myrtle Avenue,
Lenzie, G66 4HR: Wednesday 29 October 2025 (4pm – 8pm)
Any persons wishing to make comments or obtain further information in
relation to the proposed development may do so by contacting Stantec
(agent) as follows: LenzieAcademy@Stantec.com / 0141 343 3354 or by
post to Stantec, Lomond House, 9 George Square, Glasgow, G2 1DY.

Comments should be submitted to the prospective applicant via the contact
details above no later than 20 November 2025.
Please note: Comments made on these proposals are to the prospective
applicant (East Dunbartonshire Council’s Major Assets Team) and not
formal representations to East Dunbartonshire Council as Planning
Authority. If a subsequent planning application is submitted, there will be a
further opportunity to make formal representations on the application to East
Dunbartonshire Council as Planning Authority during the statutory
notification period.
