Full Planning Applications

IP/25/00320/FUL (Previously advertised on 15.07.2025) 90 - 92 Norwich Road. Erection of a 2.75m high lean-to structure at the rear; installation of kitchen extractor fan above the flat roof at the rear; erection of 2.27m high timber fencing at the rear; all for purposes ancillary to a restaurant use (Use Class E(b)). (part retrospective application).

IP/25/00615/FUL 30 White House Road. Change of use of former warehouse buildings (B8 use class) to leisure use (E(d) use class) involving internal alterations to create courts for padel and pickleball, plus changing facilities and reception area, and covered car parking.

IP/25/00622/FUL 36 Tomline Road. Extension of existing dropped kerb.

IP/25/00629/FUL 313 Colchester Road. Change of use from 6 person, 6 bedroom HMO (Use Class C4), to 8 person, 8 bedroom HMO (Sui Generis).

Protected Trees

IP/25/00623/CALF 795 Old Norwich Road. Works to trees: Crown lift to a height of 3m and reduce to provide 3m clearance from building (Yew T1, T2), Crown lift to a height of 3m (Bay T3, Lime T4, T5, T6, T7, T8), reduce lateral spread by 3m south side (Sycamore T11), crown lift by 3m (Hornbeam T16).

IP/25/00634/CALF 4 Park Road. Application for tree works: Tree of Heaven - Reduce lower overextended limbs over the lawn by 2m to reduce end weight and bring into balance with the remaining canopy. Cherry - Reduce the vertical growth at the recent failure point by 1-1.5m and prune to clear footpath to a height of 2m.

IP/25/00644/CALF 44 Iry Street. Works to Trees: (T1) Acer - Crown reduce / tip prune by approximately 0.75m and shape. (T2) Judas - Crown Reduction - Reducing the height and spread of the tree by 1-1.5 metres and balance.

IP/25/00645/CALF 68 Bolton Lane. Works to tree: Lime (T1) - Fell.

Listed Building and Conservation Area Proposals

IP/25/00632/VC Lockup Garages Rear Of 12 Fonnereau Road Bridle Way. Variation of Condition 1 (approved plans) of planning permission 11/00766/FUL (Demolition of two terraces of flat roofed lock-up garages. Erection of new two-storey detached four bedroom dwelling with integral garage.) to remove lower floor garage and reduce building height, and change to external materials.
