Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received the following planning applications for development in the Borough, which are hereby advertised.

5. A major development

    • K1 Seafood Kiosk, Jetty Car Park, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth; Removal of existing seafood retail kiosk; Erection of replacement kiosk with associated bin storage enclosure.

    • 11 and 11a Bath Hill Terrace, Great Yarmouth; Renovation of former terraced house at 11 Bath Hill Terrace and use as a residential 2-bedroom dwelling (Use Class C3); Demolition of adjoining premises and redevelopment to create a 3-bedroom end terraced dwelling (Use Class C3).

  • Land at The Conge, Brewery Street & George Street, Great Yarmouth; Demolition of existing factory, depot and warehouse buildings. Redevelopment of the site to construct 82no. residential dwellings (Class C3) with associated highway, drainage, cycle stores, landscaping works and electric substation [REVISED PROPOSALS – changes to elevations, materials and boundary treatments, minor changes to building heights, raised ground floor habitable accommodation levels to reflect updated flood depths and revised highway works].

      • Maritime House, 25 Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth; Conversion and change of use from office (Use Class E(g)(i)) to create ground floor cafe (Class E(b) and office (Class E(g)(i)), and 3no. 2-bedroom residential dwellings at first, second and third floors (Use Class C3). New dormer window to roof.

        Application No: 06/25/0707/LB (1,3)

      • 87 Church Road, Gorleston; Extension of existing garage; New parking space and dropped kerb to Recreation Road.

        Application No: 06/25/0720/HH (2)

    • Church Farm, Main Road, Ormesby St. Michael; Erection of single-storey ground floor extension to existing dwelling; Erection of a detached two-storey garage, car port and gymnasium outbuilding.

      Application No: 06/25/0614/HH (2)

    Written representations should be sent to tplan@great-yarmouth.gov.uk 

    by no later than 20th October 2025 quoting the application number. All representations will be recorded on a public file, be viewable on the Council’s website, and will be referred to the Secretary of State’s inspector in the event of an appeal.
