TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997

THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT)(SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2017

As directed by regulation 23(4) of the Electricity Works (Environmental Impact Assessment)
(Scotland) 2017, notice is hereby given that Uisenis Power Limited (“the Company”) has been
granted consent by Scottish Ministers to construct and operate a 25 turbine wind farm known as
Uisenis Wind Farm, (22 turbines with a ground to blade tip height of 200 metres; and 3 turbines
with a ground to blade tip height of 180 metres), on land within the Eisgein (Eishken) Estate, in
the relevant Planning Authority area of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar Council.

Scottish Ministers have also directed, under Section 57 (2) of the Town & Country Planning Act (Scotland) 1997, that planning permission is deemed to be granted.

Copies of the decision statement and related documentation have been made available to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar Council to be made available for public inspection by being placed on the planning register.
