What is planned?

Notice under Article 15 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 and Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
The following applications have been made to St Helens Council:
Application Number: P/2025/0508/HHFP
Proposal: Erection of single storey side extension following the removal of existing orangery. Single storey rear infill extension to connect main house to annex. Alterations to the fabric of the building.
Applicant: Mr Ian And Mrs Gill Slater

The site lies within a Conservation Area.
As this is a householder or minor commercial application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.

Proposal: Hybrid planning application for mixed-use development comprising:
(1) Full planning application for the realignment of Laffak Road and the erection of a retail store (Use Class E(a)) with vehicular access roads, car parking, servicing area, hard and soft landscaping, and associated infrastructure; and
(2) Outline planning application (with all matters reserved except for access) for a care home (Use Class C2), a drive-through restaurant (Use Class E(b) / Sui-Generis), a drive-through coffee shop (Class E(a) / Class E(b)), and a divisible commercial unit (Use Class E(a, b, c, and d)).

The application is for a Major Development.
