25/01836/FUL - 176 High Street West Sunderland SR1 1UP. Clarke Sunderland LTD is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Change of use of ground floor from vacant office to bookshop with ancillary cafe/wine offer, and conversion of upper floors to a single residential apartment. External alterations including; restoration of original shopfront; alterations to openings; reinstatement of Georgian-style joinery; remodelling of rear extension; new windows; and creation of refuse/cycle store.
25/01837/LBC - 176 High Street West Sunderland SR1 1UP. Clarke Sunderland LTD is applying to the Local Planning Authority for planning permission for: Internal and external alterations including; restoration of original shopfront; alterations to openings; reinstatement of Georgian-style joinery; remodelling of rear extension; new windows; new internal staircases; reinstatement of former bank vault; and creation of refuse/cycle store.
This relates to a Grade II Listed Building included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest.
The above applications relate to a proposal which affects the setting of 145,170 and 171 High Street West. Which are included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Architectural or Historic Interest.
