What is planned?
PUBLIC CONSULTATION
On Monday 6th October, the Church Commissioners for England will be hosting a public exhibition at:
Main Hall, Ely Community Centre
High Barns, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB7 4SB
Time: 4pm – 7pm
The exhibition will display draft proposals for the development of their site at Highflyer Farm North, Ely.
An outline planning application is being prepared for the final phase of the ELY 1 residential allocation within the East Cambridgeshire Local Plan (2015, as amended 2023). The application will be residential-led and include:
An extension to Ely Country Park
Chettisham Business Park
Delivery of new homes, green space, and jobs to Ely
This consultation provides an opportunity for local residents to understand the emerging plans for the site.
The event will be attended by the project team, who will:
Provide an overview of the scheme
Hear public views
Respond to queries
