Consultation on Amendments to the Proposed Development
Cobham Road Solar Farm (the appellant) has submitted a planning appeal regarding the above site following the refusal of full planning permission by Mole Valley District Council on 25 April 2025 for:
'Installation of a ground mounted solar photovoltaic array together with associated infrastructure, stock fencing, CCTV, access gates, on-site biodiversity net gain and associated works'
We are now conducting a period of consultation to allow interested parties the opportunity to make comments on the revised proposals and associated documents in respect of the appeal scheme.
This consultation is not run on behalf of Mole Valley District Council. The purpose of the consultation is to consult on the amended proposals and not on the appellant's application to appeal the council's decision. There will be an opportunity for the interested parties to respond to the
appeal separately.
The amendments to the proposals and additional documents are available here: https://ethical-power.com/ projects/cobham-road-solar-park-2/
(Please note this link has been corrected from the version
published on 17 September 2025).
If you wish to make any comments to the amended proposals and the revised or additional documents, please ensure that any responses are submitted directly to the appellant (not the council) using the details below before 16 October 2025. Responses should be submitted with the
subject or reference 'MO/2024/1048 Cobham Road Solar Farm Appeal Consultation Response':
• By email to CobhamRoad@EP-Development.com; or
• By post to 'Cobham Road Solar Farm, Ethical Power,
3110 Great Western Court, Stoke Gifford BS34 8HP'
All comments received by the appellant will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate and Mole Valley District Council prior to the opening of the appeal and will then be considered by the appointed inspector alongside all other consultation responses when determining the appeal. All
comments submitted will be in the public domain and may be referred to during the appeal.
