What is planned?
PUBLIC NOTICE
Proposed Smithfield Crematorium:
I&K Enterprises Ltd. invites the public to view and comment on plans for a new crematorium and memorial garden approximately 2 miles east of Smithfield, Carlisle (near farm steadings of Hunley Bank and Halfway House, A6071, CA6).
A public consultation will be held on 30th September 2025, 15:00–19:00 at Graham Arms Hotel, English Street, Longtown, Carlisle, CA6 5SE.
Attendees may view the plans and speak with the design team, who will welcome feedback to help shape the final proposal for submission to Cumberland Council.
