NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15
Notice of proposed development/works at (a) Site of Proposed Seating Area for Lock Stop Café, Greenberfield Lane, Barnoldswick. 25/0432/FUL Full: Erection of a building for indoor seating in conjunction to existing café (Use Class E(b)). The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (b) 115 Manchester Road, Nelson. 25/0595/FUL Full: Change of use of first floor store (Use Class B(8) to a snooker hall (Use Class E(d), replacement of first floor windows and insertion of new door open to the front. The proposal is within the Whitefield Conservation Area and the St Mary’s Conservation Area.
HOUSEHOLDER APPLICATIONS
(c) Bollards Barn, Barley New Road, Barley. 25/0588/HHO Full: Erection of a two-storey side extension. The proposal is within the Whitehough Conservation Area. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (d) Meadow View, Barley Green, Barley. 25/0606/HHO Full: Erection of a single-storey rear conservatory. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. As these are householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about these applications will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 17 October 2025. Any representations about these applications should be made either in writing to the Planning Services Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG, so as to arrive not later than 17 October 2025; or, a copy of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website (

www.pendle.gov.uk

under Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. Decisions are normally made within six to eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments.
