(WAPPENHAM ROAD, BLAKESLEY ROAD & ABTHORPE ROAD, ABTHORPE) (40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council, in
exercise of its powers under Section 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended, proposes to make an Order to introduce
a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the lengths of roads described in the
Schedule to this notice.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on the roads specified in the Schedule below.
A copy of the proposed Order, a map showing the exact length of roads to
which it relates and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to
make the Order may be:

MAKING REPRESENTATIONS OR OBJECTIONS – Any person wishing to object to, support, or make representations regarding the proposed Order must do so in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made, to:
