NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL –
SHELF VILLAGE HALL

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Charities Act 2011, section 121 (2) (a) that the Borough Council of Calderdale acting as Charity Trustee proposes to dispose of land and buildings held in trust.

The land and building concerned is Shelf Village Hall, Wade House Road, Shelf, Halifax HX3 7NT and the proposed disposal is by way of freehold sale. It is intended that the land and building will be used for a home care provider office space and community venue.

A plan of the area intended to be disposed of is available upon request by e-mail sent to Sopiah.miah@calderdale. gov.uk.

Any member of the public wishing to obtain a copy of the plan, make representations on the proposed disposal or lodge an objection is invited to do so by no later than 4.30pm on 25th October 2025.
