What is planned?
The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 (as amended) - Notice of Pre-Application Consultation Arrangements
Lochay Homes give notice of their intention to submit a planning application for a Major Development relating to:-
Residential development (circa 30 houses) with vehicular accesses, access roads, footpaths, open space/landscaping, green network enhancement, SUDs pond, associated infrastructure and related works at Gateside Farm, Falkirk Road, Bonnybridge
As part of the public consultation process related to the emerging proposals for the above site, Lochay Homes are holding 2 in-person public events in Bonnybridge. An on-line version of the consultation information is also available which and can be accessed via the link -

Both consultation methods will allow information to be obtained related to the emerging proposals and for comments on the proposals to be made.
The first in-person consultation event was held on Friday 29th August, 2025. A second event is also planned at the Bonnybridge Community Education Centre, Bridge Street, Bonnybridge, FK4 1AA between the hours of 3PM and 7 PM on Friday 3rd October, 2025.
Comments on the first consultation stage have now been received and are being assessed by Lochay Homes in order to determine whether alterations to the current draft proposals should be made at this stage.

It should be noted that any comments made at this stage of the planning process are to Lochay Homes and are not representations to Falkirk Council, and that there will be an opportunity to make representations on any resultant application to Falkirk Council in due course.
