Castle Street - Propose To Dispose of Open Space Land

What is planned?

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 as amended by The Town and Country Planning (PreApplication Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021.

Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant for proposed residential development, open space, associated infrastructure and access arrangements on land at Station Road, Mauchline (Local Development Plan Site Allocation MA-H2). 

The first of two drop-in consultation events will take place on Wednesday 1st October 2025 between 3pm and 7pm at Mauchline Parish Church Hall, Castle Street, Mauchline, KA5 5BZ. During this time, members of the project team will be available to respond to any questions and receive feedback on the proposals.

If you wish to make comments on the proposals shown at this event, you may do so via a feedback form available at the event, via the project website (above), or in writing no later than 15 October 2025. 

This notice does not relate to a planning application. 

Comments should not be made to East Ayrshire Council. 

Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the Planning Authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to East Ayrshire Council, statutory neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
