What is planned?

REDCAR & CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL 

Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 and Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 

Proposed development at Land at South Tees Development Corporation, East of Smiths Dock Road and West of Tees Dock Road, South Bank (Application Ref. No. R/2025/0607/RMM) 

I give notice that Orsted UK Limited are applying to REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL for Reserved Matters Application (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) in respect of a storage/assembly facility with ancillary buildings, parking and servicing pursuant to planning consent R/2020/0357/OOM. 

Anyone who wishes to make representation about the above applications should write to the Council at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Development Management, Kirkleatham Street, Redcar, TS10 1RT or by email to planning_admin@redcar-cleveland. gov.uk by 19 October 2025. 

Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plans, environmental statement and other documents submitted with the application online at www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk until the 19 October 2025 and may obtain copies of the environmental statement from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council by contacting planning_admin@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk TAKE NOTICE that the Borough Council has received the following planning applications and listed building consents (LBC) submitted under The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990: 

*R/2025/0521/CA: Installation of 6 Solar panels roof mounted; 3 extract fans and combustion vent on front elevation at 7 Church Row, Loftus 

*R/2025/0539/CA: Replacement UPVC double glazed door at 40C Garnet Street, Saltburn by the Sea 

* R/2025/0591/CA: Replacement/alterations to rear windows with additional rear rooflight at 5 Zetland Terrace, Saltburn by the Sea *As the above applications are householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment.

R/2025/0545/LB: LBC consent for bridge repairs and associated works at Upleatham Bridge, Upleatham 

R/2025/0548/OO: Outline Application for the conversion of gymnasium to 9 residential apartments to include extension at first floor and external alterations at 18 Fountain Street, Guisborough 

R/2025/0558/CA: Hardwood timber shopfront at 35 Milton Street, Saltburn by the Sea 

R/2025/0565/CA: Rooflight to utility and new boundary wall at Flat, 19 Upleatham Street, Saltburn by the Sea 

R/2025/0574/AC: Display of 2 externally illuminated fascia signs and 1 externally illuminated hanging sign at 73-75 Westgate, Guisborough 

R/2025/0602/LB: LBC for variation of condition 2 (Approved plans) on approval 

R/2023/0210/LB for alterations to rooflights at Ivy Brook Cottage, Liverton Road, Liverton 

R/2025/0606/CAM: Flood alleviation scheme and all associated works at Skinningrove Beck between bridge at Stone Row; between junction of Zetland Row with Grove Hill and New Company Row, Skinningrove 

R/2025/0608/CA: Replacement of timber windows to Flats 23 A,B and C and timber single rear door to Flat 23C with UPVC double glazed windows and rear door at Flats A, B & C 23 Emerald Street, Saltburn by the Sea Applications which affect the setting of a Listed Building under Section 67 of The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:

**R/2025/0576/FF: Hybrid application (Plot 1) full planning application for 1 self-build detached dwelling with associated access, parking and landscaping and (Plot 2) outline planning application (all matters reserved except access) for a self-build dwelling with indicative layout at Land to rear of Newton Hall Off Back Lane, Newton Under Roseberry

**R/2025/0584/FFM: Erection of up to 93 No. dwellings (Use Class C3) and associated access, landscaping, engineering and infrastructure works at Land North of Marske Road, Saltburn by the SEA **(The above proposals do not accord with the provisions of the development plans in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated) 

R/2025/0579/FFM: Demolition of existing structure; Residential development of 71 homes with biodiversity zone, associated infrastructure and landscaping at Land at Newstead Farm, West of Hutton Lane, Guisborough

R/2025/0604/VCM: Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) of planning permission granted on appeal reference APP/V0278/W/24/3346129 (planning application 

R/2023/0181/ FFM) for substitution and addition of house types at Land adjacent Silverdale Gardens, Cat Flatt Lane, Redcar 

R/2025/0606/CAM: Flood alleviation scheme and all associated works at Skinningrove Beck between bridge at Stone Row; between junction of Zetland Row with Grove Hill and New Company Row, Skinningrove Applications can be viewed on the Council's web site: www.redcar-cleveland.gov. uk/Planning and documents downloaded if required. 

Anyone who wishes to make representations on the above should make them in writing to the Section within 21 days of the date of this publication. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 any representations made are available for public inspection.
