Notice of the Confirmation of a Non-Immediate Direction under Article 4 relating to
LAND SOUTH EAST OF REDWINGS LANE, PEMBURY, TUNBRIDGE WELLS, KENT, TN2 4AR
NOTICE IS GIVEN that TUNBRIDGE WELLS BOROUGH COUNCIL CONFIRMED
a Non-Immediate Direction on 23rd September 2025 under Article 4(1) of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended)
The Non-Immediate Direction removes permitted development rights for this type of development from the date it came into force namely
(i) The use of the land, other than a building, as a caravan site in the circumstances referred to in paragraph A.2. being development comprised within Class A of Part 5 of Schedule 2 to the said Order and not being development comprised within any other Class.
(ii) Paragraph A.2 defines - The circumstances mentioned in Class A are those specified in paragraphs 2 to 10 of Schedule 1 to the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960 (cases where a caravan site licence is not required), but in relation to those mentioned in paragraph 10 do not include use for winter quarters.

The Non-immediate Direction came into force on 18th July 2025.
