What is planned?

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received the following planning applications for development in the Borough, which are hereby advertised.

The Town and Country Planning

(Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 (Article 15).

THE PROPOSAL BELOW IS ADVERTISED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

1. Within a Conservation Area

2. Affects setting of a Listed Building

  • St Nicholas Priory C of E Primary School, St Nicholas Road, Great Yarmouth; Conversion of three existing windows to external doors and installation of a new external ramp. Application No: 06/25/0437/F (1,2)

  • Ormesby Grange Tents & Touring, Yarmouth Road, Ormesby; Variation of condition 2 of pp 06/82/0484/CU (Use of the land as site for tents and touring caravans), to remove the existing seasonal-occupancy period restriction which limits occupation to use only by tents and touring caravans from 20th March to 30th September in each year, and instead allow year-long occupation by tents and touring caravans for holiday purposes. Application No: 06/25/0656/F (2)

Written representations should be sent to plan@great-yarmouth.gov.uk no later than 3rd October 2025 quoting the application number. All representations will be recorded on a public file, be viewable on the Council’s website, and will be referred to the Secretary of State’s inspector in the event of an appeal.
