(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
On the 18 September 2025 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on that section of the B8049 Boclair Road, Bearsden, between its junction with Rannoch Drive, Bearsden and its junction with the A807 Auchenhowie Road at the Allander Toll Roundabout, by reason of works being executed on or near this road. This Order will operate from 00.01 hours on Sunday, 28 September 2025 until 23.59 hours on Sunday, 19 October 2025.
Alternative Routes
The alternative routes will be by way of the B8049 Boclair Road, the A81 Milngavie Road, Bearsden, Main Street, Woodburn Way, Station Road, the A81 Glasgow Road and the A807 Auchenhowie Road, Milngavie, and these routes will be signposted.
