Options, Issues, Vision and Scope for the new Fylde Local Plan to 2042
The Council is consulting on the Options, Issues, Vision and Scope for the new Fylde Local Plan to 2042 for six weeks to 5.00pm on Thursday 30th October 2025.
The Fylde local Plan to 2042 will be the new statutory Development Plan for the Borough of Fylde. It will allocate land to provide for development needs and set out policies for the development and use of land in the Borough. The Options, Issues, Vision and Scope for the new Fylde Local Plan to 2042 document provides an opportunity for you to let us know what should be included in the new plan.

The consultation document is also available for inspection at Fylde Council, Town Hall, St Annes Road West, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1LW and at libraries throughout the Borough. Please visit

or by post to Planning Policy, Planning Department, Fylde Council, Town Hall, St Annes Road West, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1LW, to be received by the deadline of 5pm on 30th October 2025.
All comments will be published, but apart from the name of the sender no other personal information will be publicly available. Name, email and/or address details as applicable will be retained by the Council, in order to inform respondents of later stages in the plan-making process and other Fylde Planning Policy consultations, but for no other purpose. Anonymous comments will not be accepted.
