Old Farm Lane - Notice of Making of a Public Path Diversion Order
What is planned?
NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 NUNEATON AND BEDWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL FOOTPATHS B25 PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025
The above order was made on 02 September 2025. The effect of the order is to divert the public footpath B25 as follows: B25 The section of the path to be diverted runs from Point 1 to Point 2 on the order plan commencing from the south and continues straight in a north northwest direction for approximately 179m. At this point it connects with current alignment of B25 which runs to the northwest.
The new path commences at Point 1 (grid reference SP 34584 84423) laying to the north west of Old Farm Lane Nuneaton and running generally in a south east direction for approximately 86 metres then it moves south west for approximately 60 metres before turning back to south east at approximately 50 metres to Point 2 (grid reference SP 34633 84247). The new path shall have a width of at least 2 metres.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at the Town Hall, Nuneaton from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be brought there at the price of £5.00. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing to the Head of Legal Services, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Town Hall, Nuneaton, CV11 5AA not later than 5th October 2025.
Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order.
If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
