Notice Of Public Local Inquiry -

Highways Act 1980 Section 118

Notice is hereby given that an Inspector

will be appointed by the Secretary of

State for Environment, Food & Rural

Affairs to determine: North Yorkshire

Council, Public Footpath No. 35.59/5,

South Milford Rail Crossing

Extinguishment Order 2023, & will

attend at: Staynor Hall Community

Centre, Staynor Link, Selby, North

Yorkshire, YO8 8GE On 21/10/25 at

10.00am; To hold a public local inquiry

into the Order. The effect of the Order, if

confirmed without modifications, will be

to extinguish the Footpath described

below: Commences at GR SE5030

3183 & runs generally eastwards via a

railway level crossing to GR SE 5127

3172 then generally south via a railway

level crossing to GR SE 5119 3153

where it joins Common Lane. Any

person wishing to view the statements of

case & other documents relating to this

Order may do so by appointment at
