SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY FOR OXFORDSHIRE

Kingston Bagpuize Footpaths Nos. 2 and 17 (part) Modification Order 2025
The above Order made on 1 September 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them the public footpaths:
– from an existing recorded terminus of Footpath No. 2 south-east of the built-up area of Newbridge Close approximately 15 metres to Bellamy Close and;
– from the northern extremity end of Footpath No. 17 as at Grid Ref SU 4029 9797, running north-east for 68.2 metres to SU 4035 9801.

Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire
Modification Order (No. 27) Modification Order 2025
The above Order made on 1 September 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:
Adding to them the public footpath from Calcroft Lane at OS grid reference SP 2759 0256 running north-west for 918m to Bridleway No. 13 at SP 2686 0311; then continuing northwest for 672m across the dismantled railway at SP 2673 0317 to SP 2628 0343, then generally west for 498m to Road at SP 2620 0344, where it ends (SP 2619 0344).

If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981**

Towersey Footpath No. 4 (part) & Chinnor Footpath No. 11 (part),
Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2025
The Order made on 1 September 2025, if confirmed as made, will:
– Divert the public Footpaths for the area by diverting, as shown on the Order map:
– the whole width of Towersey Footpath No. 4 from SP 7506 0410 to SP 7506 0416 and the whole width of Chinnor Footpath No. 11 from SP 7506 0416 to SP 7506 0410 to new south-south-eastwards for 5m to the Chinnor Parish boundary line at SP 7508 0416;
– from SP 7508 0416 continuing north-west for 7m to SP 7508 0410, continuing north-eastwards for 12m to SP 7510 0408, continuing south-eastwards for 8m to SP 7510 0402, continuing south-eastwards for 10m to SP 7511 0401, and then south-south-eastwards for 5m to the Chinnor Parish boundary line from SP 7513 0400 to SP 7513 0400.

**NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981**

Nuneham Courtenay Footpath No. 7 (part) & Baldon Baldon Footpath No. 14,
Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2025
On 26 August 2025, the Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting the public footpaths:
– Nuneham Courtenay FP7 running from OS Grid Ref 5533 9005 west-north-west for 69m to SP 5526 9001, then south-westwards for 19m to SP 5510 9001, then south-westwards for 8m to A4074 at SP 5464 9008.
– Baldon Baldon FP14 running from OS Grid Ref SP 5606 0202 west-south-westwards for 132m to Nuneham Courtenay Parish boundary at SP 5556 0170, then to a new line running from OS Grid Ref SP 5560 0202 west-north-west for 43m to the Nuneham Courtenay Parish boundary at SP 5586 0107.

The Order comes into force on the date of confirmation but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, they may apply to the High Court under the statutory provisions in that behalf within 6 weeks from 26 August 2025.
