NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

I give notice that Great Tew Farms Partnership Ltd, The Estate Office, Quarry Farm, Banbury Road, Great Tew, OX7 4BT is applying to Oxfordshire County Council for planning permission: Western extension to quarry to allow continuity of extraction and export of ironstone and clay, with restoration to woodland, grasslands, parkland, mixed scrub, wetland and agriculture and removal of restriction on clay export during the harvest period (1st August - 31st October) at Great Tew Quarry, Banbury Road, Great Tew, Chipping Norton, OX7 4BT and that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

Public consideration of the development may take place in public and representations may be published. The proposal is advertised in line with the Council's Planning & Regulation Committee Scheme of Planning Delegation (which sets out the arrangements relating to planning issues will be taken into account when reaching a decision).

The Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended requires the determination of planning applications to be a public process. The Council will make planning application information (excluding personal data) available for public inspection and so it is not possible to take into account the determination of applications where comments are then submitted confidentially.
