TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No.12) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped eastern part width of Little Woolgarston Road at Corfe Castle in the County of Dorset. This is to enable development as permitted by Dorset Council, under reference P/HOU/2022/04977.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/5750). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Corfe Castle Community Library, East Street, Corfe Castle, Dorset, BH20 5EE.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 11 September 2025.
