What is planned?

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 as amended by The Town and Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021.

Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant for:

Proposed Planning Permission in Principle (PPP) for Redevelopment of former car park to provide mixed use development comprising new office premises, station facilities and public realm, with other uses potentially including commercial, retail, residential, student accommodation, hotel and additional office space along with associated landscaping and infrastructure,

And;

Proposed mixed use development comprising new office premises, station facilities and public realm, other commercial uses including retail, with associated landscaping and infrastructure,

On land at Queen Street Station, North Hanover Street, Glasgow, G1 2AF.

The first of two consultation events will take place on Wednesday 18th September 2025 at Glasgow Queen Street Station Concourse, George Square, Glasgow, G1 2AF, between 3pm and 7.30pm. Members of the project team will be available to discuss the proposals, receive feedback, and answer any queries during this time.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is submitted to Glasgow City Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
