What is planned?
Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 38 OF PROPOSAL FOR LOCAL DEVELOPMENT ORDER GRANTING PLANNING PERMISSION
Proposed development within the entirety of the Lake District National Park
I give notice that the Lake District National Park Authority proposes to make a local development order granting planning permission to:
a) replace a septic tank or sewage treatment plant, serving up to three dwellings, with a new sewage treatment plant, including the installation of associated pipes, cables, vents, ducts, manholes or kiosks, and any ancillary engineering operations.
b) install additional equipment, designed to reduce phosphorus discharge, to an existing sewage treatment plant.
A copy of the draft order and a statement of the Authoritys reasons for making the order are available for inspection at Wayfaring House, Murley Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal LA9 7RL, and are published on the Authoritys website at https://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/planning/planningpolicies/local-development-order. Anyone who wishes to make representations about this proposed local development order should write to the Authority at Wayfaring House, Murley Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal LA9 7RL or email planning@lakedistrict.gov.uk no later than 15th October 2025
