Notice is hereby given that the following applications have been received:
Application No. 04/25/00004: Kings Farm, 10 Eastside Lane, Bawdrip, Bridgwater, So TA7 8QB. Change of use of agricultural land to residential, to form parking & turning area with the erection of 1no. building to form two garages with storage above to serve the existing two dwellings. This development may affect the setting of a public right of way.
Application No. 06/25/00005: Brean Theme Park, Unity Farm, Coast Road, Berrow, Burnham On Sea, TA8 2RB. Erection of extensions & expansion to ‘Brean Splash’ pool facility including two outdoor 'lido' pools, lazy river, provision of ‘Festival Gardens’ comprising 4 No. leisure events pavilions & various other outdoor leisure facilities, demolition of building, external upgrades (including landscaping) to the tavern area, provision of 2 No. caravan sales units, refurbishment & upgrade of buildings to provide activities, Food & Beverage outlets & provision of outdoor seating terraces & landscaping with amended associated car parking within landscaped area including additional disabled parking, electrical vehicle charging points & cycle parking, amended access roads, upgraded pedestrian pathways, gates & fences, landscaping, ancillary hard standing & other infrastructure & works. This proposal is a major development.
Application No. 33/25/00023: Land to the West of, Yardwall Road, Mark, Highbridge, TA9. Change of use of land to residential & erection of 2 No. single storey dwellings to replace permitted Class Q barn conversion This development may affect the setting of a public right of way.
Application No. 37/25/00062: Dunns Barn, Maunsel Road, North Newton, Bridgwater, TA7 0BW. Erection of a single storey extension to the front elevation & associated works to fenestration This development may affect the setting of a public right of way. (Householder application.)
Application No. 37/25/00063: 32 Broadlands Avenue, North Petherton, Bridgwater, TA6 6QS. A 2 storey side extension plus provision of 2 additional car parking spaces This development may affect the setting of a public right of way. (Householder application.)
Application No. 08/25/00162: 59 Danesboro Road, Bridgwater, TA6 7LS. Erection of extension to side elevation, installation of new roof over garage & outbuilding, including external alterations & windows. This development may affect the setting of a public right of way. (Householder application). For applications identified as householder, if an appeal against a refusal of planning permission is submitted, there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.
Comments welcome by 30/09/2025. Applications can be viewed online, or at Council Offices & libraries. Any comments must be submitted in writing either online, by email or posted to Planning - North Team, Somerset Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR (quote the application no). Please include your name & postal address so your comments can be recorded. Responses will be made available for public inspection.
