REASON FOR INQUIRY
Appeal by Farren Hydraulics Limited, Wilstead Haulage Limited, Ken Exports Limited and Entyre Group Limited against enforcement notice issued by Central Bedfordshire Council as Local Planning Authority for the following:
North - Without Planning Permission the material change of use of land to form a mixed use consisting of an extension to the lawful waste transfer facility (the subject of planning permission CB/11/03771/MW and CB/15/02200/MW) including the siting of a portacabin structure as a site office, the siting of a security cabin, the siting of a static caravan, the siting of a weighbridge, the open storage of skips, the open storage of waste materials, the use of a central access road and the use of land for the importation, storage and distribution of shipping containers. Without planning permission the erection of concrete panel screens (and support structures) around the entire rear (eastern) boundary, the northern boundary and within the land and, the erection of metal palisade fencing along the front highway boundary of the A6.
South - Without Planning Permission, the material change of use of land for the importation, storage and distribution of tyres. Without Planning Permission, the erection of metal palisade fencing along the front highway boundary and the construction of a concrete screen perimeter wall.

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening on the date shown above to decide the appeal. The Inquiry will be held as an entirely In Person event run by Central Bedfordshire Council.

When contacting the Appeals Team, it would be helpful if you could confirm whether you want to take an active part in the proceedings or attend only as an observer. This information will need to be provided to the Planning Inspector.
