What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA25/27236/HH.

Proposal: Single storey side extension for Mr Ian Waite.

Location: Hillendale Skipton Road Cononley BD20 8NH

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27246/VAR.

Proposal: Application to vary condition no 2 (approved Plans) of planning approval referenced ZA23/25158/FUL for alterations to garden levels, rear boundaries and retaining walls (plots 21 and 22) for Snell Developments Limited.

Location: Land North of Brow Top Close Cononley Road Glusburn

Reason: Is a Major Development proposal.

Application No: ZA25/27261/HH.

Proposal: Erection of single storey gable extension for Mr and Mrs Jago and Jessica Bean.

Location: Rowans Main Street Embsay Skipton BD23 6RE

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27257/LBC.

Proposal: Replace existing windows and doors. Repainting of lift shaft and garage doors for The Green Partnership.

Location: Victoria Mill Belmont Wharf Skipton BD23 1RL

Reason: Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA25/27256/FUL.

Proposal: Replace existing windows and doors. Repainting of lift shaft and garage doors for The Green Partnership.

Location: Victoria Mill Belmont Wharf Skipton BD23 1RL

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27270/HH.

Proposal: Householder planning application for the formation of a lean to roof to an already existing garage and part conversion of garage to be snug for Mrs Linda Brayshaw.

Location: 4 The Crofts Farnhill Keighley BD20 9AG

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications/ or at the Council Offices, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 25th September 2025. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
