What is planned?

NEATH PORT TALBOT COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (WALES) ORDER 2012 

Notice is hereby given that applications have been received by Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council for planning permission for the following developments: 

DEVELOPMENTS WHICH ARE A MAJOR DEVELOPMENT 

P2025/0556 Application under section 73 to vary condition 1 (to extend the time for the implementation of the permission) and condition 2 (listed of approved plans) of planning permission P2020/0408 dated 27/11/2020 for the installation and operation of a ground mount PV solar farm and associated infrastructure including site track, inverters, battery storage containers, transformers, CCTV, fence and education area including open sided shelter. 

Location: Land To the West Of Cwmgors On Mynydd Uchaf Adjoining Community Wind Turbines. 

Applicant: Mr Dan McCallum 

P2025/0489 Proposed demolition of existing comprehensive school and loss of existing sports fields, construction of new comprehensive school, modified car parking arrangement, inclusion of sports pitches and multi use games areas, lighting, landscaping and associated infrastructure works. 

Location: Llangatwg Comprehensive School Main Road Cadoxton SA10 8DB 

Applicant: Education Department

Please note that planning staff are working on a hybrid basis (a mix of office and home working). 

The Quays is open but on an appointment basis only.
