TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.17) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of a southern part width of Newmarket Road, a western part width of Barnwell Road and a northern part width of Rawlyn Close at Cambridge, in the City of Cambridge. This is to enable development as permitted by Cambridge City Council, under reference 23/04687/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/S247/5969). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Barnwell Road Library, Barnwell Road, Cambridge, CB5 8RG.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 5 September 2025.
