What is planned?

The Council has under consideration the following applications:
Refs: DMPA/2025/0095 & 1047 (Affects a Conservation Area & the Building is Curtilage Listed) Conversion of former wash-house/out-house building to form 1no. holiday accommodation unit including external alterations at Former Wash House to rear of 62 Church Street, Penn Lane, Melbourne
Refs: DMPA/2025/0898 & 1035 (Affects a Listed Building) Change of use from retail (E) to 4no apartments (C3) including associated extract flue alterations, bin storage, parking & a roof garden at 114-116 High Street, Woodville
Ref: DMPA/2025/1052 (Major Development) The variation of condition 1 (approved plans), condition 27 (construction management plan) & condition 34 (new roundabout) of permission ref. DMPA/2020/0521 to facilitate amendments to road alignments, updating of housetypes, re-planning of plot layout & to accommodate previous approvals of details required by conditions (relating to the demolition of the existing residential property (Cherry Cottage) & agricultural barn & development for 385 residential dwellings (use class C3), formal & informal public open spaces, structural landscaping, new roads, footpaths & cycleways, 2 no. site accesses & ancillary works) on Land at Sk2130 8875, South of Derby Road, Hatton
Applications may be viewed at planning.southderbyshire. gov.uk or during working hours at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, DE11 0AH. Any comments must be made in writing, quoting the application reference number, within 21 days of the date of the publication of this notice (not including public holidays)
This notice is given in accordance with provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and/or associated subordinate legislation.
