What is planned?

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013, Regulation 7(2)(b)

PRE-APPLICATION PUBLIC CONSULTATION EVENT 2:
PHASE 2, WICK BUSINESS PARK, WICK

Development Proposal: Erection of buildings (overall total gross floorspace up to a maximum 12,500sqm) for use as business (Class 4), general industry (Class 5), storage and distribution (Class 6) and storage and distribution with trade counter, associated infrastructure including access, internal roads, parking, open space, landscaping, drainage, utilities and associated works (Phase 2, Wick Business Park) on land adjacent and to the northeast of Wick Business Park, off the A99, Wick. Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) invites the local community to view and comment on the development proposal. This second and final drop-in public consultation event will take place in the foyer of The Highland Council offices, Caithness House, Market Place, Wick KW1 4AB from 3pm to 7pm on Thursday 25th September 2025. The event will provide feedback in respect of comments received regarding the development proposal.

Comments can be made at the public event or via email to planning@turnberryuk.com. Alternatively, you can write to Turnberry Consulting at 41-43 Maddox Street, London W1S 2PD. Comments should be submitted no later than 5pm, Tuesday 30th September 2025. Further information concerning the proposed development will be available on the HIE website or by emailing planning@ turnberryuk.com.

Please note that any comments you make as part of this process are not representations to the planning authority, The Highland Council. If HIE submits a planning application there will be an opportunity to make representations on that application to the planning authority.
