The following application for Planning Permission, accompanied by an Environmental Statement, has been received:

Reason for Publicity: A ccompanying Environmental Statement/Affects Public Right of Way/Affects Listed Building or its Setting/Affects Conservation Area/Major Development/Constitutes a Minerals & Waste Application/General Publicity

Location:   Rookery South Energy Recovery Facility, Green Lane,

Stewartby, Bedford, MK43 9LY

Proposed Development: C onstruction and operation of a post-combustion Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Capture Facility and associated infrastructure. (EIA application accompanied by an Environmental Statement)

Members of the public may also obtain hard copies of the Environmental Statement from the applicant’s agent by contacting Andrew Winter andrew.winter@stantec.com (tel. 07393465379). The cost of a printed version of the Environmental Statement including Technical Appendices and the Planning Application Statement is £250.00 (inclusive of VAT and postage) or a CD version is £5.00. A printed version of the Environmental Statement Non-Technical Summary is £10.00.
