Notice under Regulation 25 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 for additional environmental information received in connection with an application for planning permission and an environmental statement already submitted

Proposed Development at Walpole Landfill Site, Walpole Waste Transfer Site, Bristol Road, Walpole, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4TF

I give notice that Valencia Waste Management, has provided additional environmental information under regulation 25 of the above Act to Somerset Council for planning permission for the Continuation of non-hazardous landfilling operations and land gas utilisation at Walpole Landfill Site and that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

Members of the public may inspect the application online at planning.somerset.gov.uk or by appointment at County Hall Taunton until 25 September 2025. Any queries or representations regarding the application should be made to Ruth Amundson at planningmineralsandwaste@somerset.gov.uk or by post to the address below. I must point out that representations received become a matter of public record, and as such may be made available at any time. Copies will also be forwarded to the Inspectorate and applicant in the event of an appeal. Members of the public may obtain copies of the Environmental Statement from the applicant at richard.kevan@veolia.com for a fee of £25-400 Any personal data received, as part of such a representation, will be processed in accordance with the current Data Protection legislation, more information concerning the processing of your personal information by the Council can be found at www.somerset.gov.uk/privacy
