What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning

(Development Management Procedure) Order 2015,

Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990,

and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas)

Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA25/27215/FUL.

Proposal: Full planning permission for change of use from agricultural land to a mixed use of agricultural and amenity (secure dog walking/exercise area) for Mr Beckwith.

Location: Land Off Short Lee Lane Grassington Road Skipton BD23 3LF

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27219/FUL.

Proposal: Full planning permission for the installation of ground mounted 9kW Solar PV array (24.2m² footprint of ground mount framework), for Dr Peter Wynn.

Location: 11 High Street Burton in Lonsdale LA6 3JU

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27224/VAR.

Proposal: Section 73 application to vary condition 2 (Approved Plans) of permission ZA25/26887/HH for Mr Darren & Louise Varey.

Location: Ghyllside Netherghyll Lane Cononley BD20 8PB

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27213/HH.

Proposal: Householder permission for internal alterations to ground floor and first floor plans to create central hallway with living accommodation to either side, including new openings, moving stairwell to central hallway, raising of ceilings and first floors. Vaulting of internal first floor ceilings with installation of breathable insulation. Installation of heritage, conservation rooflights. Installation of inset matt black solar thermal and PV panels on rear (south facing) roof pitch. Rear, single storey, garden room extension with associated extension of patio and relocation of modern garden retaining wall and associated landscaping. Demolition of existing side outshot porch/lobby with WC and detached stone and slate outbuilding and replacement with new single storey flat roofed, pavilion style, glazed link hallway to act as functional main entrance and as separation to adjoining proposed double garage with home office and guest accommodation in roof space above. Proposal: Consent to display 3No Sets of replacement externally illuminated fascia signs and 1No replacement externally illuminated projection sign to front and side elevations and 1No Set of 3 replacement glazing graphics to front elevation for Boots UK Limited.

Location: Boots The Chemist Market Place Settle BD24 9ED

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.
