Of An Application For Subsequent Consent Accompanied By An Environmental Statement

Proposed development at:
Land at Hanwell Estate, Main Street, Hanwell (25/00407/F)

I give notice that Mr Kelly have applied to Cherwell District Council on 17 February 2025 for planning permission for “Installation of a 40MW ground mounted solar array, together with all associated works, equipment and necessary infrastructure, the associated cable route along the public highway and DNO connection point.”

Planning permission 25/00407/F constitutes EIA development and is accompanied by submission of an amended Environmental Statement (Version 03). The proposal constitutes “major” development.

Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plans, the Environmental Statement and other documents submitted with it via the Council’s website. Copies are also available to view at Cherwell District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, OX16 5FD between the hours of 8.45am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday inclusive during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice.

Members of the public may obtain copies of the application and the Environmental Statement by prior appointment from RPS Consulting Services, 2 Callaghan Square, Cardiff, CF10 5AZ. There may be a cost involved for obtaining a copy of the environmental statement.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should do so via the online Planning Register. Alternatively, please email planning@cherwell-dc.gov.uk, or write to the Assistant Director for Planning and Development, Cherwell District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, OX16 5FD by 20th September 2025. Please quote the application number 25/00407/F and clearly state whether it is in objection, support or comment on the application. You should be aware that by law, any letter or email you write is not confidential and may be read by others including the applicant. The Council will not consider any anonymous letters or emails that make representations on applications.
